Foundation course pathway 2: Illustration. The brief was to create a concertina book from text generated by combining two poems. I chose to work in mixed media inspired by Clover Robin, Eric Carle and Lauren Child whose work I grew up with. I tried to create different textures and include an element of interactivity with miniature lift up flaps. Whilst I loved some of the work I created working on the brief, I would have liked to have had longer to develop the finished piece.
